LABOUR INTEGRATION OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

In ENTREPINARES we have pledged for the labour integration of deaf people. We collaborate with the services of vocational orientation of FAPSCL (Federation of Deaf People of Castile and Leon) and use SERVICES OF INTERPRETATION in selection and training processes.

Workplace Safety and the Prevention of Occupational Risks is a permanent and fundamental aim in our company and a basic requirement for achieving TOTAL QUALITY. Resources on this matter exceeds 30 people. ENTREPINARES incorporates OSHAS 18001/2007 standards.

EDUCATION AND ENTERPRISE: professional opportunities for students

In ENTREPINARES we collaborate with a dozen of educational centers (vocational training centers and universities), welcoming each year trainees from different Centers of Vocational Training, Official Bodies, Universities of Castile and Leon and Masters degree, which are offered possibilities of stable employment in the company.

SPORT: PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Our commitment to the promotion and development of local sport has materialized for more than 20 years in the sponsorship of the local rugby team. Every year 300 kids come up through the clubs youth of QUESERÍAS ENTREPINARES. This is an opportunity for personal and professional development.

Audits and AENOR’s & IFS’ standards on production processes and products

QUESERÍAS ENTREPINARES, S.A.U. has implemented a system of self-control based on the principles of HACCP that keeps regularly updated. We also believe that it is vital to keep a Management System in the company that normalizes and controls the chosen production standards, and also supports the concerns of improvement in all fields.

As a testing measure of our levels of management, we regularly submit to audits of AENOR. We have our Quality System certified under the UNE-EN-ISO-9001:2008 Standard and our System of Environment based on the UNE-EN-ISO-14001:2004 Standard. This helps us to guarantee the quality and hence satisfy our customers.

To strengthen our self-control HACCP system, all plants of the group have obtained the IFS certificate, that helps us to ensure Food Security and innocuousness of our products.

We also have BRC certificate, seal which also guarantees Food Security and a great recognition for export.

Our corporate culture considers Quality and Continuous Improvement as a fundamental mainstay, and we are aware that seeking for Business Excellence is another of the goals to achieve. In this sense, ENTREPINARES is in the process of evaluation in accordance with the model of Excellence of the EFQM.

QUESERÍAS ENTREPINARES S.A.U., in its firm commitment to the Environment, has implemented an ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM in accordance with the requirements of ISO Standard 14001.

Through this management instrument, it aims to improve the environmental behaviour of all employees and collaborators in order to minimise the impact of their activities on the environment with which they relate.

At ENTREPINARES, we want to reiterate our commitment to protecting the environment and preventing contamination, as well as continuously improving our Environmental Management System.

At ENTREPINARES, we have established a process-based approach that allows us to accurately follow and measure the associated environmental aspects and establish the suitable indicators in each case.

Within this approach, we have integrated the life-cycle perspective of our products and processes, allowing us to expand the vision of our environmental performance.

At ENTREPINARES, we regularly assess our environmental aspects as a consequence of our activities, products or services, and we determine those that have or may have significant impacts on the environment.

OBJECTIVES AND GOALS

We set objectives every year to reduce or control the more significant aspects at each of our production plants, such as:

Valladolid-Las Arenas Plant:
  • Objective: Reduce energy consumption, which we have managed to achieve by 5%.
  • Objective: Reduce paper consumption, which we have managed to achieve by 21%.
  • The next objectives are to reduce the generation of contaminated plastic containers and reduce energy consumption.
Valladolid-Argales Plant:
  • Objective: Reduce energy consumption, which we have managed to achieve by 16%.
  • Objective: Reduce water consumption, which we have managed to achieve by 5%.
  • The next objectives are to reduce plastic containers and reduce energy consumption.
Fuenlabrada Plant:
  • Objective: Reduce the consumption of scrap, which we have managed to achieve by 30%.
  • Next objectives: Reduce energy consumption.
Vilalba Plant:
  • Objective: Reduce energy consumption, which we have managed to achieve by 5%.
  • Objective: Reduce the consumption of acid detergent, which we have managed to achieve by 35%.
  • The next objectives are to reduce plastic containers and reduce energy consumption.

At ENTREPINARES, we are aware that a fundamental aspect for ensuring the effectiveness of the environmental management system is to train our employees and collaborators so that they are informed and aware of the relevant environmental issues. This achieves an active participation of all the "actors" who form part of ENTREPINARES in its Environmental Management System.

The motivation towards the organisation's objectives and goals, the continuous improvement among departments, and the free sharing of knowledge and experiences improve, in our day-to-day commitment to protecting the environment, and provide, in short, an added value to the work performed.
